"Whats the Matter with Utah?" -- longform article on Mormons not supporting Trump

Jacobin is a leftist publication that I doubt anyone reads, but sometimes their articles can be quite well-researched and quite fair. I didn't find the characterization of Mormonism as unnecessarily macabre as it tends to be in some analytical circles.

Anyways. I think the explanation the article poses for why Utahns arent rallying behind Trump is 100% correct (also found the blurb on Uchtdorf interesting-- i've heard many posters here mention his name).

Wow, I found the article's description of Mormonism to be as spot on as I've ever seen in a non-Mormon publication. I'm impressed.

My thoughts exactly-- it's why I shared (even though some may have hesitated when knowing which publication it came from). They also had an article on a Canadian politics recently which was brilliant.
