When/where does the return flight from Houston land?

I’ve done this back in the 90s (yup old timer) when I was living in Salt Lake.
It used to be the million dollar air terminal. Sounds like it’s still the same place, just a different name.
It’s no where near the main airport.
I’ll always remember going out when the Jazz came back from Houston after Stockton made the shot. There was roughly three thousand of us crazies out there at 3am what a great time.
If I still lived in Salt Lake or even close I’d be going tonight.



Here’s a map of the location if it helps. I used to go out on 700 N then just go south on 2200 W. You should be able to see the players when they get off the plane. And when they drive out in there cars.

I was somewhere floating around in the background. LOP Periodically chimed in on the feed. The only picture I actually got was a selfie with LOP.

Today at 10 I believe, streaming on 1280.

The weirdest part of the airport was Dante. He was the first one out of the gate, preceding the others by a few minutes, and he was in a huge hurry. Maybe he waved at the end of the line, but he looked like he wanted to get the hell out of there asap.

Snyder slowed down, window down all the way, and exclaimed "wow" when he saw everyone. Was smiling big. The crowd chanted the man's name, guys.

Ingles looked stoked about it. Gave people high five from his window down the line.

Several guys had their phones out to film the line as they went through.

I went to the airport a couple of times during the 97-98 finals runs. It was fun to see how surprised and excited the players were about the crowds. Wish I could do it again. I miss being young and healthy.
