OKC has T-Ferg... I'd do that... not sure they would but they don't have anything else to offer really.

Detroit has Johnson... I'd rather have a pick though.

Not really intrigued by Tony's list... mentioned Orlando and Denver too.

I'd be interested in a future first from OKC... perhaps in the ashes of their current big 3.
 
Stanley Johnson and Detroit's 2020 pick for Hood still sounds good to me.

I'm not big on an OKC 1st unless it's unprotected and in something like 2023.

Orlando could be interesting. I like Jonathon Simmons and Herzonja.

Jazz should have 0 interest in Portis. Not a system fit. New age 4/5 tweener who doesnt play D.

they can't trade a pick until like 2024...

Bulls won't send a pick (just my guess). Detroit can't send a pick for a couple years. Maybe they'd send one.

I think Hood sticks around.

Maybe Bulls would take Hood and AB... send back Holiday. Pretty meh

He's going to get paid way too much for what he provides on the court. I wouldn't want to even give him Ingles type money tbh. Ingles is a better shooter, passer and defender. And he's more position versatile. Rodney is a 6th man and his best role would probably be as a 3 point specialist ala Korver. I wouldn't want to pay a lot for that.

The crazy thing is, Chicago could trade us Tony Allen ($1.4 expiring) and Jameer Nelson ($1.4 expiring) for Hood and Burks. They have that much cap space. Now, what else would we realistically get from Chicago in that deal? Their 2019 protected 1st? A future protected 1st? Their 2nd this year?
 
It's laughable that Chicago wants Hood and here we may even let him walk.
 
It just sucks cause the 3 main interested teams in Hood arent really in a position to deal their picks.

Detroit and OKC both wont be able their 2019 pick.

Bulls have two first round picks, but why would they deal one of them to us when they could have just take Hood and expiring filler for Mirotic instead of taking on Asik? If they dealt to us, it would be a future 1st and I'm not interested in ANY of their players (beyond the untouchable Lauri).

I do like Detroit 3 wing players, Kennard/Bullock/Johnson, to varying levels.

OKC has Abrines, who I dont really like, but he can at least replace Hood's shooting.

So to me, with limited information, the best trades from those 3 teams would be centered around Reggie Bullock or Alex Abrines, and you hope you can talk them into future first instead of 2nd rounders.
