Nice try for what? I don't get it. You don't believe the 5 year old boy was killed by a pit bull or you don't believe that some poor chihuahua re-enacted "the birds"?

Nice try trying to criminalize a breed from one example, there are easily just as many heroic stories of pits then there are of pit attacks. Obviously people like to emphasis bad news, that's why mainstream media rarely reports anything positive. Aggression can be bred out of dogs. As I said before in my personal life experience I have yet to meet an aggressive Pit.
This includes my trips down to Las Vegas and the Pits I've met down there.

A Kentucky man has been accused of harboring a vicious animal after a Christmas Eve pit bull attack in which a woman was killed and her husband injured.

Bell County deputies determined after an investigation that the two pit bulls who "savagely attacked" Lorriane Saylor, 66, and her husband in Arjay Sunday morning belonged to their neighbor, Johnny Dale Lankford, 42.

Johnny Saylor manged to shoot the dogs afterward, killing one of them. The second dog, which was shot in the chest, ran off and wasn't found until Monday afternoon, when deputies were notified that the dog had returned home. Deputies and an animal control officer put down the dog.

Lankford was told of the charge at the Bell County jail, where he is being held on separate charges of assault, domestic violence, unlawful imprisonment and an outstanding warrant. Those charges were brought in connection with an arrest Friday.

I love pits and my brother's is the sweetest dog in the world, but over the span of the last 12 years pits and rotts makeup over 75% of dog fatalities in the US. There are dogs that bite more than pits and rotts. The difference is, when a pit or rott attack, your life is on the line if you are not strong enough to alpha it. Speaking of alpha dogs, there are no such things. It is a myth.
 
Man, I just found out our old old zeus of a blue healer was mauled to death by a pitt bull yesterday. He was a great farm dog everyone in the neighborhood from kids to old folks loved. I'd have shot that pitt if I was present. What a f'd up way to go and what a coincidence i see this thread this morning
