What's new

Where will scoring increase to replace Kanter's 14 ppg?

We will add Dangelo Russell and Wes Matthews/Kris Middleton. Scoring will go up, assists go up, opponents scoring goes down.

Set up the team for the draft. It's all about development and next year.

Russell will provide that scoring.

So...The Jazz are going to score 7 points less per game trading Kanter? No ****ing way.

What? No. His points will go somewhere. Who gets them? I was joking kind of about the team scoring 7 more ppg without big ball stopper. It's possible.

Booker and Gobert will both score more. I think exum and hayward will as well. Probably favors too. So yeah, like you said everyone will score more.

Booker, Favors, Rudy, in that order. I'm more excited about the increased defense. Having Favors and Rudy covered for the lack of defense. Having a center that can't play defense...well...it's like having a shooting guard who can't shoot. Plug both holes and we are in the playoffs.

I think when you look at replacing a player, it's more about possessions than points.

So where will his possessions go? I would say Booker and Favors mostly.

need details on the picks damnit

Per Locke the 1st round pick is from OKC. They currently owe a pick to Denver that is top-18 protected in 2015 and top-15 protected in 2016 and 2017. The Jazz will get the pick from the Thunder 2 years after the Thunder give their 1st round pick to Denver.

I think this is the only place where +/- matters. How much Jazz gives up with Enes on the floor. Sorry, gave up. And how much they scored only because of him. There surely will be a hole for some time, but it will work itself out. Some other moves in the offseason will shape and shake things out.
