Which front court do you think is the best for a championship team?

Assume the Cavs offer the Jazz the #1 pick for either Favors or Kanter. Which front court is best?

Lets assume that Cleveland Cavs offer the Jazz the #1 pick in this year's draft in return for either Kanter or Favors. Which front court do you think is best for the Jazz moving forward?

Clearly its Kanter and Favors. You need players who do different things and Favors is better than Noel. Kanter adds a different dynamic.

This is actually a close call for me. I also think the Cavs will offer the Jazz a deal like this. The only consideration here is that Noel has dramatically better speed than either Kanter or Favors. He should get up to about 225 lbs, but stay pretty light and play PF.

An argument can be made that Noel is an equal or greater prospect to Favors, based on speed and quickness alone, then factor in his age. Favors and Noel have identical reach.

I just went with Kanter/Noel as my combination because Favors is still a bit clumsy on offense and Noel has the raw talent to be better offensively.

Not a comfortable decision, and it could backfire depending on Noel's health. But Kanter and Noel in their prime would be bar none the best front court in the league.

I'm waiting for PKM to chime in on this. It would not surprise me in the least if this deal were on the table for the Jazz.

LOL... this is turning out to be an unofficial "give it go PKM" day...

I think he'll avoid this thread like the plague. Nice setup Catchall.

WTF would we do this?? I'd be down if we got next years pick, but CLE would laugh at a deal like that I'm sure.
