Neither was Zimmerman. At least not unprovoked. The fact still remains a man with a gun solved a dangerous situation where someone was being attacked without discharging a bullet into the alleged assailant.

But Zimmerman is the real hero to you folks, for the sole fact he did use his gun and kill an unarmed kid in cold blood.

way back in 1968 I heard one too many ad agency pieces doing the gunshot and the dead kid heartbreak blaming guns and inciting morons to turn their guns in to the cops, right after I read William Shirer's The Third Reich which showed what governments do when the people have no guns.

Yep. It's the only way I know to articulate that I'm laughing hysterically at something. I'm not advanced at the internet as you. Once again, no surprise that was all you could come back with. Well that and a neg rep.

Because all situations were you have to draw a gun are exactly the same. Thank goodness nothing different ever happens.

Maybe Zimmerman is guilty of murder. If so he should go away for a very long time. If not then the evidence will support that and he should go free. Let's see what the evidence says.

Had the perp in Salt Lake not laid down when the gun was drawn would you be OK with your hero popping him even if he was going after someone other than your hero? It wouldn't be self defense in that case. Is he to withhold shooting until directly threatened by the knife wielder?
