Ehh, I'd move him as soon as you can get an expiring contract and a pick. Not at this point. Sexton's value should only go up on that contract. He's probably the one player on the entire roster with enough speed to consistently beat his man off the dribble tbh. That could obviously change after 1-2 drafts though.
JV and Beasley might be the ones at/near their highest values at their current production. Jazz only have them under contractual control for another season. If Ainge can get a haul for them it will open up spots for our draft picks. I'd hate to deal Beas but his shooting is going to be a very hot commodity at the deadline and they can give those minutes to develop Simone/Agbaji.
Just my thoughts as I'm putting on my Trader Danny hat this morning.
He's a tough fit as you build you roster. Always having to account for the counter balances needed to make a 6'1 scoring guard who is reluctant to take spot-up shots makes team building harder.
NAW has emerged, and even if he isnt as good as he is now, he's a better overall player because of his length/defense/spot up shooting.
Beasley is borderline elite as a shooter so it's tough to actually get on board (though I think about it often) with the idea of trading him given the Jazz might not get a better shooter than him within the next decade.
