Who do you want Utah to sign this off season?

Depending on the new Cba. Lets say that Utah has a Mid Level Exception with a max of 4.5 million for 4 years per the agreement with the new cba. Who would you want Utah to go after?

Restricted players- Arron Afflalo-would be my 1st choice- then Nick Young but reminds me too much of an older Cj Miles

Non-Restricted players-I'd throw it all at Jr. Smith if we missed out on the other 2. But SG would be the place I would center my attention. Then resign Ak and draft Irving! And I thnk that we could get a sg from the Nuggets. I just don't see them investing all the money needed in keeping Smith, Afflalo, Forbes, Chandler, Gallenari, Harrington who all play the same 2 spots. Plus they have picks And I woul give up the Golden State pick for a signed and traded Afflalo.

So who would you want?

Greg Oden.

OJ Mayo.

Not sure how to make it happen, but both are worth the risk.

Karl Malone as strength and conditioning coach.
Gordon Chiesa as PR manager and assistant GM
Matt Harping as timeout and halftime entertainer at ESA
Raja Bell as the tv color commentator
Kenny Natt to coach Al and Favors
Jay Humphries to work with the gaurds

...and a couple of players I guess.

Build through the draft isn't too bad an idea if Favors turns out to be anything decent. There aren't a whole lot of great FA's this year, as far as I've read anyway. Trading looks more promising to me.

I agree. I think the jazz will go SF with NJ's pick. There are a bunch and whoever they draft will be the BPA at that point. There are really no bigs of note or decent SG's - well, outside of Jimmer, that is;-)

The Jazz are young enough. AK (if he re-signs) and Raja would be the senior statesmen on the team. I'm ok with keeping Raja...if he comes off the bench. But I definitely want the Jazz to use their late lottery or the conditional pick from GS in a trade to get a veteran SG. I could see them offering a pick + CJ. Miles was Deron's BFF, he's way too inconsistent, and he'll probably want to leave or want way too much money once his contract is up. Get what you can for him. If Jazz trade for a good veteran, CJ would be valuable as a replacement for the player who is traded away.
