Who else is depressed that Marvin Williams is the best player on the Jazz?

After all this time wanting the young guys to play we come to find out that none of them are better than Marvin friggin Williams.

Me.

But I ain't blamin' no youngsters.

I blame Ty. He doesn't pump fire in them.

He doesn't let the rage of teenage own the stage to let'em out of that cage.

He acts like... u know what, don't wanna get censored again.

If they were fighting instead of just playing along, the Jazz would have at least 3 or 4 more wins.

At least.

The lack of fire in the youngters is a shared blame. Not all Ty and not all players. The players are grown men and need to step as grown men. Ty does not seem to inspire them at all. It appears that by yelling at Kanter he is taking the exact wrong approach.

I really think a good offensive coach could make a huge difference in the youngsters. Hayward and Burks are forcing way too many shots. They don't look like they know what they want to do when they have the ball. Kanter is losing his confidence and Favors is getting frustrated by being the only one going to the boards. Hopefully, Dennis Lindsey knows Ty is killing the youngsters and puts Ty (and us) out of his misery.

People always said this about Sloan. Maybe the Jazz just suck at drafting?

He's lost most of his athleticism at age 27, feel kind of bad for him. Still manages to contribute though.

Show me who the Jazz drafted, what number they drafted him at and what number the player you feel they should have taken was drafted at.

Take as long as you need.

Easy as pie bro. All these players the Jazz should have selected were drafted within 1-2 spots of the Jazz picks except Leonard.

-Hayward-should have picked Paul George

-Alec Burks-should have drafted Kawhi Leonard

-Deron Williams-should have picked Chris Paul

-Kosta Koufas-should have picked Serge Ibaka

-Morris Almond-should have picked Aaron Afflalo or Taigo Splitter

-Kris Humphries & Kirk Snyder-should have picked Josh Smith and Al Jefferson

The coaching staff cant make players hit shots and play hard.

Even with a bad coach, a team full of lottery talent should be way better than this. Even if the coaching staff is all screwed up, good talent should still find a way to get some wins.

When it comes to our core4, I like them, but can see they all have flaws. Kanter = low athleticism. Favors = no assertivness. Burks = cant hit shot. Hayward = Cant take over a game.

So its not like we have this unflawed great group of guys. And thats on management.

When it comes to dtafting, Jazz management has left a clear trail of how they like to draft. Its the good guy, hard worker, smart player types. Thats great, but you miss out on guys like Paul George or Ibaka because you avoid raw talent.

So all Im saying is that the Jazz drafting strategy is a little flawed. They need to cast a bigger net when drafting, and include more types of players. Ones that arent just meant to fit your system or please the public. Because its just as easy to bust on the "safe" pick.

So, all these players you are proposing the Jazz should have drafted were thought of as clearly better by people in the biz? The Jazz went against a common consensus in selecting them?

Armchair quarterback and after-the-battle-general are both annoying, but boy, are they fun when you put them together.

Everyone besides Leonard was literally picked right after the Jazz selected.

Many people thought George, Paul and Splitter should have been picked. I was pissed when the Jazz passed on Splitter.

This is not armchair quarterback. This is the Jazz selecting between 2-3 players and choosing wrong.
