Who eventually replaces Boler?

Are they still not courtside anymore? I wonder if that is the reason because they are further away.

That would make some sense. I watch most games on my phone and I have a time with Kessler/Lauri and Sexton/Ochai at times. Especially if its a situation where Sexton is crashing the glass or something because sometimes he plays like he is a lot bigger than he is.

Not a fan of Collins' non stop screaming. It gets old, just like any other type of shtick. Nobody's that excited to watch a bad team play another bad team in the dog days of the season.

It's easy enough to tune out Boler - his voice is like wallpaper. It's Thurl I'm having more problems with. Dude... if you see a terrible, incomprehensible call, you're allowed to tell it like it is now and then. You don't have to jump through hoops to make the refs look better.

(whistle on Kessler)
BOLER: And that's the second foul on Lauri, right under the basket. We're only two minutes into the game.
THURL: Yeah.... that's... I'm having trouble seeing it.
(slo mo replay starts)
THURL: The block looks pretty clean... (adopts hopeful tone of voice) but maybe Walker got him with his shin?
(the guys look at the replay, with absolutely no contact anywhere)
THURL. Yup. There. His shin brushed Brunson's calf for a millisecond. Good call.

Please please no bolerhack dynasty. Pass the torch to someone else. Someone from BYU, obvi.
 
I've noticed him messing up players more frequently the last few games. Still, speculating publicly about strokes and Alzheimers or whatever. Not cool.

I may have to go find the clip… it’s not just the excited yelling. He says funny things and has great basketball timing… it’s like he actually knows the sport.

A lot of teams have moved announcers further from the court over the last few years. That might explain it.
