Who is Excited About Trey?

I had been earlier in the season but then he kept having these horrible shooting nights all the time. It is souring me on him a little. Burke's far and away biggest problem is consistency. Without that he isn't good enough.

2 options how to become more valuable

a) get better at what you do
b) lose Dion Waiters level self awareness

If he closes out the season stringing together more performances like he's had the last few, I will be less of a critic. It's bed nice to see him improve but without consistency it's moot.

Yup. Still think it's fools gold. Trey is a player I'll cheer when he's performing well. I don't have much hope for him. If he proves me wrong I'll be elated. If not, I won't have dashed hopes to sweep up.

Trade him and I will be excited

I'm on the wait and see bandwagon. As someone said earlier, just when you think you are watching him grow up right in front of your eyes, he gouges your eyes out with a pitch fork. I still think he has a lot to learn, one part being the ability to know when he is off and instead of shooting he can make an impact by passing.

I don't hate the guy, but I hate when he takes the entire team down with his poor shooting and play. On the contrary he can also carry the team, but the inconsistency to do so is worrisome.

I don't get excited about Trey any more. Hopefully he keeps improving, especially until Exum is ready for a bigger role.

Problem with trey is he stagnants the offense wich is fine when he's on fire but it's hard to be consistent with ur jumper when u dribble for 15 seconds pass it then get it back with 5-7 seconds on the clock and the other team knows ur going to shoot. His style of play is flawed he's got skill and I think he's a decent shooter, but he gets in his own way. Seems like he is only looking to score when he has the ball, on iso's or pick'n roll he's just not looking to pass and let the game come to him. I'm not sure if he will figure that out

Even when Burks and That other player who won't be named were still playing here Burke was still getting the second most FG attempts on the team that can't happen when u have Hayward favors Burks and that idiot no longer playing here.

Alway nice to see Burke playing well, but he'll always be short and slow for his size. Those things are tough to overcome unless he can become a lights out shooter, which he has shown zero signs of for any extended period.
