Who is going to be the leader(s) of the Jazz?

From listening to the interviews, Exum still seems very young. I think we've got to give him at least a whole season before we could expect him to step up in that sort of role.

Let Burke and Hayward and whatever vet do it. This season, I just want Exum to focus on learning to be an NBA basketball player. Considering his lack of experience, I think that alone will fill up his plate.

From listening to interviews? How about looking up his age with the googles?

I agree. He seems very poised and naturally confident but he was thrown out of the nest and landed in friggin Utah!

I wonder if there are any parallels between Australia and Utahr. I mean a black kid coming from the inner city and then going to SLC is going to have a just-moved-to-Siberia like culture shock.

Burke and Exum. Burke does appear a bit whinyish at times though in a way that reminds me of Deron's last year here.

This. A two-headed PG leadership team. It is the natural position to lead and these two seem to have the best leadership DNA. Don't expect Exum to lead out of the gate, but to emerge over a couple years. 2014 is Burke. Hope he backs it up with performance.

Utah will be a blessing in disguise for Exum. A top pick in an exalted draft puts a lot of pressure on a young kid. Much less in the city of Utah than a bigger metro area. Jazz will not skip steps with him and they will lower expectations in the media and fan base.
