Who is the Best Guard or Wing We can Get for Walker Kessler?

  • Warriors
  • Bulls
  • Wizards
  • Nets
  • Dallas
  • Spurs
  • Grizzlies
  • Thunder
  • Lakers
  • Suns
All could be teams who are interested in Walker.
Of those options the only ones I think would actually be interested and actually have stuff to trade are GS, Memphis, and maybe the Thunder if they want a more traditional option... it does not seem like they do at all. Maybe the Lakers but they got lots of options.

A pick centered GS/Memphis trade doesn't do a whole lot for me personally.

I don’t think it needs to be a crappy team, just saying that even some of the bad teams have a C. I would love for DET to pull a wtf but they’ve got a lot of them and Duren is actually great.

GSW is kinda interesting.
Wasn't specifically thinking Detroit... was just thinking a team that kinda comes out of nowhere like they do for a guy they shouldn't trade for.

idk, GSW could be something like Moody/Pick for Walker.

I wouldnt do that trade now, but maybe at the draft if you get Sarr you do something like that.

Basically what I been saying. This conversation is premature as you want to have the replacement in-house already. I might be interested in that if we drafted a different center… if not it’s dumb.

Yeah, I'd agree with that last part. I'm not advocating for getting rid of him. Just wondering what his equivalent value at more important positions would be down the line.

I want to reiterate that I'm not pushing to trade Kessler...but it is my duty to throw out the question of if we can get Quickley out of this.

Also, can we use Kessler as a salary dump incentive for buff Miye?

That's possible. I don't think they love Mitch

I don't have a good gauge on how they feel about Mitch, he's on a decent contract but is on the struggle bus so far. I think they would love a starter level player with two years left on his rookie deal though. Kessler would be an instant upgrade, a huge money saver, and offers them some potential.

got to admire this man making a generationally embarrassing take of "THT good Kessler bad" and following through with it until people are so annoyed that they'll never bring it up to him again

THT is good...

He's not great on the worst spaced lineup of all time with 1 shooter.

There is no singular blame on this team. It's just a really badly put together team. Ainge did it on purpose. He's going to get his top 5 pick this year.
