Who Should the Jazz Bring In?

We have a pretty good sample size now with this season and Bogie is shooting 42 percent FG and 38 percent from 3. He’s not one of the best shooters in the league. This combined with his worst on the team defense, makes me wonder why we shouldn’t at least experiment with lineups or minutes? What’s the worst that can happen? Oni or Hughes suck so bad we lose to Washington? Already done that.

I don’t understand why he shouldn’t see his minutes diminished. And I don’t understand why Oni and/or Hughes shouldn’t see some of them. Seems irrational to continue to play players based on their names and not on their actual production.
Yes there are tons of volume three point shooters that are shooting better than him this year... a year that is lower than his career averages and that he is coming off of wrist surgery...

I mean go look at Buddy Hield, Duncan Robinson, Davis Bertans, etc. and you would see that they are all... oh wait... ****... they are all slightly below Bojan.

I get the excitement of a bench warmer you've never seen play before, but at some point you have to understand that a certain status and playing time is earned...and that's ok. We made jokes about Mike ****ing Conley...but yeah, it didn't matter that he was a trash can. Trent Forrest wasn't going to take his starting spot.

I think a reasonable way to deal with the Bogey situation is to swap his role with Joe (or simply let Joe close very time) and have Oni replace Niang. I'm a big Niang supporter and have never been that high on Bogey, but that sounds reasonable to me. Benching him entirely for a bad G-League player isn't the way to go about this.

But that’s just it, I don’t know how good Hughes is. Why not give him
Some Minutes?And wasn’t Forrest a journeyman?

Jazz seem like they purposely went out and got a lot of senior players
These are guys who should be ready to play with out a whole lot of development
Hard to understand what they are doing

It seems like some of you already believe Hughes is a bust. If that’s the case, then someone needs to be fired. We overpaid on favors and drafted two busts.

I don’t know what Hughes can or cannot do. But i think we should be more open to playing some of our young guys. Royce isnt Lebron and Bogie isn't Prime Dirk. Why aren’t we more open to playing our young talent unless that talent just isn’t very good? And if that’s the case, then what the hell were we doing this off-season? Clearly, there was talent available; McDaniels and Bane obviously.

Hard to read any of ther

Rookies rarely help you win outside of elite talent. Hughes might become a rotation player for us but those players you listed are rotational players. You are telling the best team in the NBA to play someone who hasn't proved anything, to play over legit players.

Royce is a “legit” player? Bogie needs 30+ mins? He’s shouting sub 40 percent from 3 and is the worst defender on the team.

Stick to politics, Thriller.

But seriously, I don't think you understand Quin. You're tilting at windmills with this line of argumentation.

Oh Cmon. Royce is so overrated by this board and Bogie’s shooting this year has been atrocious.
You’ve been the most emotional person on this board for a decade now. I wish I could allow myself to believe this is just some funny internet shtick, but unfortunately it’s plain as day that it isn’t.

So what was the point in our draft if none of the picks are even playable?
