Back to the topic, it appears Wells is a defensive specialist. If so, good hire. Ty didn't have a defensive guy on his staff; they were all offensive (see what I did there?).

I find it ironic that one of the criticisms of Ty Corbin was that he only hired his friends on his staff. Now DL is hiring all of his friends. Ty's friends were former players. Dennis' friends are old spurs and rockets d league coaches and video coordinators.
