Who to take at 53

It will be Jordan Bone...

Would his fan club be known as the Boners?

I'd say a decent sleeper is Ky Bowman.

His highlight reel is amazing with crossovers/windmill dunks/chasedown blocks but his lack of improvement of his shooting is concerning

Mike Daum. 25 ppg 11 boards.
This guy has some crazy stats but how does he project at the next level? Is he like a Jonas Jerebko type?

Some other names to think about..

Miye Oni- Ivy league player of the year reminds me of Wes Matthews a little. Nice measurements for a nba player. I like his game but one worry is he looked terrible in the step up of competition in the ncaa tourney.

Quindarry Weatherspoon - pretty solid all around player that peaked his senior season with a excellent offensive rating of 119 for the season.

I like Mike (Daum), but I don't think he's an NBA guy. He's bigger/less mobile than Jerebko.

Anywho, continuing to beat the drum - Justin Wright-Foreman should be the pick. Bucket getter who's a better passer than he's given credit for.

Daum has held his own in post season games the last couple of years against decent competition. Does it translate? I don't know but the stats are mouth watering and he got his coach the UNLV job. He ought to at least be worth an invite to summer league.

Wright-Foreman is intriguing along with the little dude from Campbell that lead the NCAA in scoring and was the Portsmouth MVP. Daum was 4th in the nation in scoring, 4th in rebounding, his team was 4th in the nation in scoring and finished 14-2 in league and 24-9 overall.

We need a stretch 4 and he can be that. Really long and athletic with really good vision. Dude can do a lot.

He’s our Siakam.

Maybe Phoenix will sell their early second and we could nab Windler. Would be a nice fit as Ingles isn't getting any younger.

he can't shoot. one of the most inefficient players in the draft, actually.

now, siakam wasn't and really still isn't a shooter, so maybe he could be similar to siakam - though that is a very high bar and he wasn't as good in college as siakam either, but maybe he could bring some versatility on both ends.

What I don't get is the Jazz year after year have the league high in draft workouts so they can find these hidden gem players. Then they usually just sell the pick or waste it on a dumb player.
It's like watching the bachelor. Get a bunch of prospects and then picking the wrong chick every time. Their last good 2nd round pick was Neto.

another guy i wouldn't mind seeing them take a chance on is John Konchar. do it all type who can shoot it and is a very good athlete. probably better than Grayson Allen, tbh.

I think the Jazz are going to move up and get an earlier 2nd-round pick.

I think they worked out a deal in the 2nd round weeks ago, and that's why they were bringing in guys like Iggy Brazdeikis, Louis King, Admiral Schofield, Terence Davis, etc.

I'm just guessing though.
