Says the guys who is reading and responding to my thread.

Also its only 9:40, and I'm relaxing in San Diego on my Ipad as my girls watch A Goofy Movie.

But thanks for being so concerned about me :)

Good movie! But I think it will be Trey because he has already had a year with the team. Even though the offense will change he is the more seasoned of the two at this point so the offense would likely roll through him.

In a perfect world it would be a Spurs style offense where everyone is a playmaker but we might be a ways away from that being a reality.

I thought Corbin was critizsed for using Trey Burke as an off the ball player to much? I do not think Exum and Burke can play together that well... If you play Exum with Burke, you can not use Exums height advantage, because they will guard him with their SG... But if you play together Exum/Burks or Exum/Hayward than the opponent is supposed to guard Exum with a smaller PG, so you can use his height advantage and create miss matches. Even stronger PG´s are not long enough to guard this kid...

I would start...

Trey Burke/Dante Exum
Alec Burks/Thabo Sefolosha/Anthony Morrow
Gordon Hayward/Rodney Hood
Enes Kanter/Veteran PF
Derrick Favors/Rudy Gobert

Exum could get major minutes as 6th man type Player... If he plays better than Trey, than they can switch their roles.

Unless Quinn is being told to throw the year I doubt DE gets 20 minutes a game. He is very raw and likely several years away from making an impact.

I believe Exum will. I see Exum and Burke both starting and having the play making run mainly through Exum. This way Burke can use his spot up shooting to his advantage. Also with Exum's speed he will always be pushing the fast break and his duty will be to push the ball up the floor. Then if there is nothing there the ball would rotate back to Burke for a pick and roll. But the first option will run through Exum.

Having the offense flow through the SG position seems like a Jordan/Kobe thing to do. Does anyone know if Kobe and Jordan had the highest assists average on their teams?

off the top of my head i remember Pippen being the APG leader on the bulls in 97' and in 98'

I can't wait to see y'all's faces when the guy you least expect leads the team in assists...

Kanter.

Muhahahaha!

I went with Burke. Hopefully with working hard and improving, new talent and a new coach his assist number will go up.
