@Beantown

How about starting a "Who will succeed more contact lay-ups next year? Burks or Exum?" thread and making it public this time?

I picture Burke/Hayward/Exum all being around 5 assist.

Has that ever happened?

I think this is going to be close, but my gut tells me that Hayward will garner more assists as the new kids try to figure out how to play consensus point guard. I see Hayward bumping his a bit to 6-7 and the others in the 4-6 range depending on minutes.

Someone is going to benefit from the hockey assist (should be renamed Tony Parker assist tbpfhwy). Hayward has a good chance of benefiting from a ton of catch and drive and catch and swing situations.

Laughable.

Clowns always make me laugh.

We will not have a standard 1/2 or PG/SG lineup. We will have a 1/1.5 or PG/G lineup.

And it will be glorious.

I'd rather see Exum and Burks start eventually into the season.

If Exum were to start over Burke I imagine it would be next to Hayward. Hayward and Exum would probably complement each other better offensively and would be pretty formidable defensively, imo. Exum would benefit from having a solid assist man next to him in the backcourt.

I see our backcourt being

Exum/Hayward and Burke/Burks. That is if Exum is up to it.

Exum makes Hayward much more valuable to this team imo. It also means that if Exum starts Burks plays sixth man. If Exum works out we will have to trade Burke which is why I would rather do it before we are trading an "extra" player. Also, I'd rather not throw away another top 3 pick by holding on to guys that don't fit long term but get us W's now. I think Neto would be fully capable of playing back up pg on a lottery team anyway.
