I

I was mostly kidding. Also very disrespectful to Kenny who is clearly already very good. I think Flip would dominate the G. Furphy might have the best upside. Give me either and I'd be pretty happy.

Also we need at least one token white guy in Utah.

I do wonder if Flip has some injury concerns with his hips, but I'm ok taking injury risk on in the second round. I've also come to like Igodoro. He's got the dribble handoff/passing game that Hardy would love and is athletic.....can't shoot for **** though.,

I don't think having Lofton fight it out with another big is terrible, but I also think I'm most optimistic in Lofton so if we give him that chance I'd be happy. Furphy is a good value and you can never have too many wings.

Sure, but then DA turned around and drafted two 19 year olds.

I think it might just be that DA is saying stuff to act like we are competing and not actually doing those things.

Will be fascinating to see how many vets he signs because currently Hardy has an extremely young roster.
DA is simply responding to what he likes in the moment. I dont think any team wants 3 draft picks two years in a row, especially when none of them are top 5. The real test will be if we make any decent moves the rest of the summer.

Ahh forget it all....I will state what I want.

I want Chomche for the huge upside/risk. Maybe you pick him at 32 or maybe you trade down but whatever's... You lock him in on a four year non guaranteed contract and if it doesn't work out you let him go. Super young, his body can level up even more and in the right situation his skill level can also increase.

Actions over words. The fact that they didn't pull the trigger on Deni also kinda hints to we may not be all that interested in being better right now.

I'm totally good with one of these guys, Flip, Furphy, Smith, or a surprising pick - Trentyn Flowers! I think he'll excel in the g league for a year and then tear it up the following year. Quite young too.

Interesting tidbit about the guys who we drafted:

Collier was the #1 prospect coming out of HS. Chody was the #5 prospect coming out of HS. Ainge loves him some HS prospects.

Who was the highest prospect remaining out of HS left on the board?

Also, what are the odds we trade 32 for multiple second round picks? I would say... Ainge loves them darts and I wouldn't bet against it. Why have 6 rookie/sophmores on the roster when you can have 7!!!

Justin Edwards, welcome to the Utah Jazz.
