Who will be better that will be available at 14?

Schroeder, Giannis, Gobert, possibly Adams, possibly Zellar, Karasev, possibly KCP, Olynyk (don't like, but he will be better off the bench role player), Wolters (prefer him with the #21 pick, but would rather have him with the #46), possibly Shabazz.

*possibly, means they will possibly be there, not possibly be better.

^all those dudes definitely will, or have some sort of scenario where they would be available at the #14 pick. Some of them I would still prefer to take with the #21, or not at all, but they will all be better NBA players then I envision Larkin being.

I wouldn't, but there are other guys projected to go there (like Olynek and Plumlee) who I'd rather see Larkin than.

Is Larkin really that franchise PG we want?

Is there a franchise PG in this entire draft?

So here's what I would suggest, go for the BPA when we draft. From all the mocks that I have seen, that includes athletic wings like Bazz and Greek basketball Moses and bigs. Get serviceable wings and bigs. Look for that franchise PG next year.

I don't quite understand why so many are so dead set on drafting a mediocre bandaid PG. if we want a bandaid why not just reup Mo? To tell you the truth, ill be surprised if Larkin ever becomes as good as Mo. Why waste a draft pick on someone who you plan on replacing in the next year or two?

I kind of feel bad for how much i hate Shane Larkin. Like, the dude hasnt done anything wrong (except maybe bump too high at the combine) but im forced to hate him cuz people are crazily overrating him.

I hope he turns into the Russel Wilson of the NBA. That is if Jazz draft him of course. However overcoming a hight disadvantage is more difficult in Basketball than it is in the NFL.

Also It is strange that Jazzfanz dislikes Shane Larkin. Reddit as a whole has a man crush on him.

We keep having these threads.. and that's cool. But we all know the Jazz are going to draft the best player available; not what we need. Kelly Olynyk here we come.

Kelly Olynyk coming off our bench might be the best thing to happen to us in years. We all (hope) for Favors and Kanter to play the bulk of the 4 and 5 in the next few years. Olynyk off our bench would only fortify our already solid front court. To me, stealing Olynyk, a very serviceable big (who has starter potential), would be just fine in this draft full of guys who will probably be out of the league/career 3rd stringers/energy players (like Larkin).

It's because people are acting like he's Deron Williams, thee answer to our PG position. When in reality, he's closer to Nate Robinson. He's a nice backup/energy player who should be drafted in the late 1st/2nd round. NOT LOTTERY.

There are 7-8 players who will be better than him after 14. Pass. May be with 21 but that is if we can't land a PG at 14 or via FA and trades.

Shane Larkin shoots as well as Steph Curry, is as good a ball handler if not better, is faster than him, and jumps high enough to get his shot off anywhere on the floor. And they're both cute as a button.

Shane Larkin shoots well, especially off the dribble, and he shoots fast.
But so does Jimmer.
