Oh well, it's THT season.

If we end up doing nothing to improve this absolute horror show of a backcourt, I'm calling the offseason a total failure.

THT and Dunn are not assets, they're barely NBA players. Anyone who thinks THT will improve his value just like that is dreaming. He had the perfect opportunity to do that in the 2nd half of last season and wasted it. Dude had ZERO market because teams are not dumb. Nobody wants a guy like that to run their team.

I can't believe we're starting the season with no playmakers and 9 shot-happy or overdribbling combo guards.

I don’t believe this directly relates to this as a potential deal, but I’ve felt that we’re rolling with what we’ve got for now. Collins is opportunity cost and will continue to be. I hope I’m wrong, but don’t feel that I am.

It’s the hope that kills me.
Tbh, i didn't really had hopes that could happen because it just felt the price would be too much to make sense for us (even i agreeing with the idea of trading for Jrue)

Even then, when i saw what it cost i was like Damn, that was something

In other words, we're tanking after all. JFC.

I had hope but I have main character syndrome and project it onto the Jazz. I think the package I outlined was close to what they got. Not convinced Williams will be a huge asset unless he can play 20-25 games with solid health. If he does they could flip him for a pick. Brogdon is maybe worth some seconds. Portland did pretty well but the picks are so far out.

DA is always looking and trying… way different from the previous regime that liked to wait to see if the phone would ring. I have no doubt we’ve been in all these convos.
