Who would you rather have in the draft

So we all agree on except Johnson. I'm very impressed with him but I for some odd reason I like Aminu's athleticism, defense and size over Johnson's shooting, athleticism. Both don't create very well though.

I'm shocked that no one has voted for Babbitt. His numbers are clearly better than George's overall and he, not George, is more athletic OP. That is, if we're basing it on game stats and pre-draft measurements.

I guarantee if their races were reversed, everyone would choose Babbitt, hell maybe even be screaming from the rooftops to draft Babbitt. Let's look at him compared to Wesley Johnson...

Wesley Johnson: 35.0 mpg, 16.5 ppg, 50.2 FG%, 41.5 3PT%, 77.2 FT%, 8.5 rpg, 2.2 apg, 1.7 spg, 1.8 bpg, 2.3 tpg, 2.1 pfpg; 8'10" standing reach, 37.0' vert, 11.43 lane agility, 3.14 sprint
& Luke Babbitt: 37.1 mpg, 21.9 ppg, 50.0 FG%, 41.6 3PT%, 91.7 FT%, 8.9 rpg, 2.1 apg, 1.0 spg, 0.8 bpg, 2.4 tpg, 2.6 pfpg; 8'8.5" standing reach, 37.5' vert, 10.98 lane agility, 3.40 sprint

Very, very similar...Babbitt's numbers offensively are slightly better than Johnson's and Johnson's are clearly better on the defensive end. I have to believe that with Babbitt's athleticism, he could improve immensely in that area. My point, he's underrated imo and I believe that's due to his race more than anything else. Hell, I understand people's perceptions of white guys but...

Wait what conference did Babbitt play in?? What conference did Johnson play in and didn't his team make it to the Sweet 16? Babbit's team was centered around him. I watched the last 5 or so games from Johnson and he hardly had the ball putting up those ridiculous #'s. Andy Rautins had the ball or that Scoop dude. If Cuse put the ball in Johnson's hands more they would have gone further in the tourney

A couple things...my main point was that everyone picking George boggles my mind. Babbitt has clearly better stats and their measurements are about the same. Regarding Johnson, I was simply showing how the two had very similar numbers. Obviously Johnson played in a far better conference. However, he's also basically two years older than Babbitt (23 months if we want to get more specific) so he's farther along on the curve. He also had far better talent around him and far better coaching, so going further in the tourney (though Nevada only made the NIT) is not the strongest argument. If that were the case, Hayward would be a no-brainer.

I think Babbitt, Paul, Johnson, even Henry would all be good fits. Is Johnson that much better than the other three to warrant trading up? He is not.

Luke Babbitt or Paul george?
Xavier Henry or Gordon Hayward?
Epke Udoh or Hassan Whiteside?
Patrick Patterson or Ed Davis?
Cousins or Monroe if we move up?
Johnson or Aminu if we move up?

I just don't see the love for Babbitt. Seems like a Adam Morrison 2.0 to me. Don't get over excited off Combine stuff. What matters is how they perform on the court and I strongly believe George will be a much better NBA player

I agree that George will be the better pro, but Babbitt and Morrison are nothing alike unless you cant the fact that they are white and look dirty with long hair.

Babbiit/George is a toss-up. But, assuming Korver isn;t re-signed, we have to replace Kyle's smirk for all the lady fans. Babbitt has that slightly deformed lower face that for some reason women find attractive.

Udoh offers more immediately, but Hassan can be an incredible defensive force in a couple of years. I'd take the chance and hire someone to work with him every day.

Cousins and Johnson were the easiest picks.

Paul George - Cant deny his size and skills
Xavier Henry - Young, and is already quite polished, great size and atheltic ability
Hassan Whiteside - Size, not a Udoh fan, having a true center would be nice too
Ed Davis - Patterson cant play minutes at the 5, Davis can
Cousins - can play minutes at 5, serious post skills and rebounding
Aminu - I know Im in the minority, but this guy seems like Brewer v2, but v2 has the ability to learn to shoot. We all know that Brewer would of been an amazing player if he ever learned how to consitently hit down a 20 footer, or even shoot 35% from 3's. Too me, Aminu has the ability to do all these things, plus the things Brewer could do slashing wise. Aminu would be more of a rebounder/shot blocker though, where as Brewer was a steal man.
