Well, Paul George had a +6 on/off split for a conference finalist team and Hayward has a +10 on/off split for a lottery team.

What do you think the on/off split would be if the roles were reversed?

Hard to say. I wanna believe that Hayward This year could be as good as George Last year for the Pacers. I think George is a batter Rebounder and Defender but not worlds better. Hayward is still good in both. Don't know if it still holds but a few weeks ago Hayward was the 5th best isolation player in the league. NBA.com ran the piece that included that info. Don't think Paul George is as good on ISO and Hayward is also a better play maker.

Well, for players of their caliber, it would be fairly accurate, I think, to say that George is average on offense and above average on defense and the reverse is true for Hayward. The question then becomes whether the degree that each player is above average either supersedes or outpaces the other. Strangely enough, each player seems to make spectacular plays at their "average" ability (George on offense and Hayward on defense) and just are all around solid on their above average side.

I think George comes out slightly ahead, all things considered.
 
I'm so sick of the national media giving George tons of love and thinking he's way better than Hayward. Such bull. Even guys like Stephen A Smith would think it was blasphemy to say Hayward is on the same lvl, but the stats obviously suggest he is. Even Skip Bayless said after Hayward made the game winner against the Cavs that he's "Not a Hayward fan." Lame if you ask me. Hayward is a really nice player. I think he might even be a top 30 player in the league. Certianly top 40.
 
I also think that when it comes to Hayward the national media attaches all white stereotypes to him. Can't defend anyone. Can barely dunk. He's a shooter. Its not, What the hell!!! Are you blind, you D bag national media piece of crap who obviously has not watched a Jazz game since freakin Stockton and Malone!

I'm happy to say that at this point Hayward vs George is a very legitimate argument.

Especially when you factor in salary and health
 
George also plays for a team that has a horrid offensive system. That definitely plays a role in his offensive stats.
 
George has the edge on rebounding but that cause Hibbert is like the worst rebounding center in the league. Hayward would likely have an uptick if he played for the Pacers. I am confident George's rebounding averages would go down if he played for a team like the Wizards or Bulls.
