WIll a jazz player get into the all star game?

I have seen multiple other people say this too but I disagree.

You could give gobert the mvp award and he wouldn't slack of even a tiny bit. Dude is simply tenacious and driven regardless of accolades or what is said about him. He doesn't need a chip on his shoulder. Dude will give 110%, all star or not.

Wouldn't hurt to have him play with an extra chip on his shoulder though, didn't imply that he might slack of if he was made an all star.

Ya I think that his play and effort will not be affected at all by being an all star or not being an all star.
Seems like many people seem to think that if he gets snubbed he will play harder or something. I disagree with that.

I do think him getting the all star nod could help him get more respect from the officials though.

What people are mainly forgetting, is that all star voting has historically taken into account the previous season as well as the current season. At least that's been my observation. That's why in my opinion Hayward has a much better chance than Gobert of making it in.

Yup. Makes the case for DeAndre (first team all NBA) over Gobert. I think it is because people's memories tend to lag towards historical information before they fully grasp the "now"
