Have to say at this point I wouldn't be surprised if none of them make it. Best shot the Jazz have of representation for the all-star weekend, IMO, is Evans for the slam dunk competition.

There are too many possible combinations with all four picks to list every possible outcome. So if you think three players or one rookie/one soph will make the game, please specify the players in your post. Please note I also did not include Evans. He obviously will not play in the game, but hopefully he gets selected for the dunk competition. Maybe he can invite Watson for some "Early-Oops."

I'd say none. Though I voted one frosh and one soph just because I'm trying to type it into existence.

yes -- Favors is exciting enough and Hayward popular enough that they should be on the soph squad. Kanter is a high enough pick he should be in. The only question is whether Burks will get the nod.

I agree that Favors and Kanter are pretty much locks. Don't know about Hayward or Burks, though.

Edit: And it would be very cool if Evans gets an invite for the dunk contest.

Can't remember where I read it and it also wasn't final, but this year the teams won't be limited to 8 rookies vs. 8 sophomores. There may still be 8 of each, but the teams won't be separated that way. They will select the players to form the teams, so that one team is not completely without bigs or points or whatever. So while Kanter may be one of the few bigs in his draft class, they could elect to fill the big slots with sophomores and then split them up. Also...even if Hayward and Burks both make it, they could be on the same team.

We'll see if that's how it goes when they make the final announcements.

when is the decision for the rookie/sophs roster made? also, who votes for the rosters? coaches?

i could see Hayward, Favors, and Kanter all making it.

I can't see Favors or Kanter not making it. They were picked so high and have produced well in the time they've gotten. Are 12 guys more deserving? I also think Burks will make it. And Hayward will watch from home.
