Will Hardy calls out the team's selfish play

I cheered when Hardy said this, but then I remembered that he should have already been doing something about it. Hold them accountable. Figure out a decent lineup. Do something different because none of this is working.

The elephant in the living room says that the Jazz don't actually have a decent lineup. They have Lauri. They have a few erratic guards. Their only playmaking big is lackadaisical on defense. And they have an intriguing rookie. There isn't much else here. Half their guys can't make a play off the dribble.

Don't think he's talking about THT. THT one of the only players passing. I would guess it's more Clarkson/Sexton.
You know the crazy thing is you might be right about who Hardy is referring to. That's how big the mess is at the guard spot.

But surely, surely you would agree that a 49 TS% shooter taking 20 shots in 24 minutes is less than ideal.

Just because you pass the ball a few times doesn't make you selfless. Both THT and Clarkson are chuckers. They just keep flinging up at the basket no matter if it goes in or not. Now JC has earned that ability a little but THT hasn't. The real problem is that JC and THT are not starting PGs. JC was 6th man of the year and that is his best role. The Jazz need get rid of a couple of their "PGs" and to free up more time for our younger players. For the record, I don't think the coach was pointing the finger at just THT or JC, there are a lot of guys who play hero ball on the team.

We should also acknowledge the fact that the Twolves are a long, athletic team who can block the passing lanes. The combination of Edwards, McDaniels and Gobert can stifle ball movement. Conley did a great job getting around our screens and keeping pressure on the ball too.

This team needs shot takers though. We are playing 3 front court players who cant dribble!
