I really think they're trying to dump 30 and Favs pretty hard tbh.
But we would be better served if we could trade Bojan for savings and any sort of value.

I'm going to try to stay positive hoping that we don't burn another asset.

I wonder what kind of picks we could get back for Bogey? A first and a couple of seconds?
I think NY at 19 and 21 is the target if we do that… they have space. I think one of those picks and a second is reasonable. If it’s for a player I think Kuzma and 22 is on the table. I think Indiana for 13 and Lamb Holiday is possible… maybe we add 30 in that case… doesn’t get us off much salary though. NO at 17 maybe… they use their space in that case for bogey and maybe sign Dinwiddie or a lower tiered pg. maybe something with the kings?

NY seems like the most likely bet to accomplish our goal of getting some draft equity and getting off some salary.

Salary must go. My hope is that this revolves around Bogey, I agree that NYK is the obvious destination, but it's more likely that Favors is dumped with #30.

Man, I love Bogey but some of these deals you've mentioned would be hard to turn down. I think Kuzma and 22 would be a good deal for us but I would hate to see us give Bogey to the Lakers.

I’m ready for Locke to talk about how great a deal it was to trade Favs and 30 to Charlotte for 56/57… they got the guys they wanted anyway.

Gonna be interesting. Hopefully something good shakes loose rather than something ******.

I'm praying that we can swindle the Knicks. Obviously Thibs had a great year last season, but he's still Thibs. He might be one of the few FO guys who still see's value in Favors and he would definitely see value in Bogey. Jazz got to make something work here or with NOP.

I salary cut mandate is difficult, but if it has to be done please get creative and don't just send Favors to OKC.

Don't think we have the necessary assets to meaningfully move up, so I expect us to either trade down for multiple 2nds or just buy a later 2nd to take a swing on an extra guy.

Could do Bogey to NY for #32 and the future Dallas pick they own. Maybe they throw Knox in and we spin him off to a third party... maybe to Minny for Juan Hernangomez or just into OKC's cap space.

Saves us a bunch... we are drafting in that range so should be very prepared. Get a future first to defer the guaranteed salary... Knicks can still get whoever they want at 19/21 or they can package and move up.

Its why I think I'd move Bogey first and then see if there is a deal later for Favs. Some team will miss on their guy... I just don't know that the Knicks are willing to use up some space on Favs right now... they might be later.

I like the new NY front office and how they have operated thus far... I just wonder if they buy too much into their success last season. If they miss on top tier FAs do they do impatient Knicksy things.
