All this is is just a never ending onslaught of attack Trump, all the way up to and through the next election.

Smart writers can take something like this and feed off of it for an eternity. Its a money making machine. Why would you ever stop? Why would you ever be fair to Trump who you despise and he despises you. The media is not what you think it is. Its a political tool owned by elitists playing political games.

I have no faith that any of this is a true attempt by media angles to just get to the truth. They couldn't care less. Its all about political war and their is no honor. Just winning. How can you not see that? Of course this will never stop, regardless of what evidence is actually out there. Its a narrative that they feel like they need to keep going at all costs.

This was a BS story to begin with, and still is.

Lets talk about Hillary an emails ok? Because there is a whole lot meat left on that bone. Why arent you and the leftist media still chewing on that? We both know why. Can we just cut the crap already and be grown ups?

It's beyond absurd to pitch "there's nothing to see here, let's move along" as the only appropriate response to what's going on with the release of the Mueller report, Barr's 4 page "summary", Barr's "the AG as the protector of the president" press conference, criticism of Barr by Mueller, the whole ball of wax just does not add up to "there's nothing to see here". It's going to have to play out.

Add to this Trump's decision to exist in a realm beyond Congressional oversight, and this is simply too blatant an effort to accelerate the movement toward a way the hell too authoritarian chief executive. I think we had to expect a final scene by Trump that would create a "nothing to see here anymore" narrative, even including claims that the Mueller investigation was an attempted coup, but we would need to be pretty dense between the ears not to recognize this as a con job.

Barr has zero credibility and needs to resign. It's ludicrous to see him as the chief law enforcement official, the head of a Department of Justice. He is not representing the people. He is representing Donald Trump, and that is not the function of the AG of the United States. He's the Roy Cohn Trump has wanted as the AG, but it simply is unacceptable. We don't have to accept this debasement of our institutions.

You care nothing for defending the institutions of our democracy. You thank Russia for meddling, as if they attacked our election out of love for us, rather then the malevolent intent it represented.

You're so in love with trolling, that you are even willing to talk like a traitor to get your private yucks. And, really, that's why you support Trump in the first place. He's a troll too. And that's actually your idea of what we should aim for, that's your standard of excellence in leadership and your idea of higher aspirations for your nation. Classy. Just like Trump.

Ok, here are a few questions:

Let’s assume for one second that Trump is solely responsible for the economic growth we’ve seen over the past 3 years. He’s not. But for sake of arguments, let’s say he is.

At what point does our national security, our allies, the rule of law, democratic norms, mending America’s cultural and societal fault lines, and just plain decency and honesty trump economic prosperity?

Does the executive branch serve no other purpose than to provide citizens with jobs?

At what point should citizens call for impeachment? When the economy enters a recession, and that’s when the president’s crimes matter? But until then, let him continue to commit crimes and obstruct justice?

Ok, here are a few questions, and I’ve posed them to some of my students recently:

Lets be clear. Hes not committing crimes in the eyes of the law. Just in your eyes of disapproval.

Ya, the president should just make sure that the country is economically prosperous. Its important. You know money is important. Its what liberals cry about constantly. Without it, there are bigger problems than your feelings being hurt. So you start there, and pretty much end there. Along with insuring peoples rights. But its not the presidents job to make you happy or kiss your *** when you throw a fit.

Its amazing how ignorant and ungrateful the majority of liberals are. They pretend to know so much about the world and other cultures, but are completely oblivious to just how good they have it in America, yes even with a president you dont like.

There sure a lot of people who said they would accept the findings of the Muller report, that arent accepting the findings of the Muller report.Screenshot_20190502-001136_Chrome.jpg

"But more often, proximity to an amoral leader reveals something depressing. I think that’s at least part of what we’ve seen with Bill Barr and Rod Rosenstein. Accomplished people lacking inner strength can’t resist the compromises necessary to survive Mr. Trump and that adds up to something they will never recover from. It takes character like Mr. Mattis’s to avoid the damage, because Mr. Trump eats your soul in small bites.

It starts with your sitting silent while he lies, both in public and private, making you complicit by your silence. In meetings with him, his assertions about what “everyone thinks” and what is “obviously true” wash over you, unchallenged, as they did at our private dinner on Jan. 27, 2017, because he’s the president and he rarely stops talking. As a result, Mr. Trump pulls all of those present into a silent circle of assent.

Speaking rapid-fire with no spot for others to jump into the conversation, Mr. Trump makes everyone a co-conspirator to his preferred set of facts, or delusions. I have felt it — this president building with his words a web of alternative reality and busily wrapping it around all of us in the room."
