If I was a Milwaukee fan, I would be excited about Sanders. But only because of his potential. He had 5 blocks the other night in a really nice game. He's turned in clunkers in half of them. Jazz fans probably can't be as excited about Hayward, but he's also done some really nice things. He didn't look good in the preseason game I saw, but it's hard not to get juiced seeing some of the passes he made.
It's preseason, and they're rookies. They won't contribute that much this year. They'll both play good games. They'll both play bad games. Their ceiling is the only thing that matters. There is no reason to conclude at this point Sanders ceiling is higher than Hayward's, and it won't ultimately matter as long as they eventually become good players.
