Draft and stash. This draft was DEEP! Next year's won't be as good. Toronto is a playoff team, so their pick will be mid-round. Boston should be better too, so not as high as the #35 Lindsey traded. I still say it was a bad decision.

But hey, I'm THRILLED with Exum and Hood. And Gobert too. Burke was at least a starter in a weak draft. So if all I can do is nitpick on the #35 after two years, I'd say DL has done an OUTSTANDING job to date.
 
Only reason DL might have passed on Stokes is he already has his 14/15 man roster set.
Maybe Burke, Exum, Burks, Hayward, Clark, Garrett, Favors, Gobert, M Thomas, Kanter, Hood, Evans, E Murphy, M Williams
That's 14 right there and DL probably has 3 or 4 prospects targeted we don't know about
 
To those expecting Hood to have a better rookie season than Exum, or the ones under the impression that Marcus Smart is more NBA ready than Dante. Ive gotta say it looks like Vegas disagrees.

Biggest mistake Vegas does is not taking Mirotic into consideration.
 
Well he talks the talk, hopefully he walks the walk, had to love his comment about wanting to be one of the best defenders in the league and the quick comment by Quin telling Rodney he'd remember it...
 
Looking at this pick and when I remember that we got this by helping Golden State get Iggy and then I remember how Golden State robbed Harrison Barnes/Andre Drummond from us.

Hood will have a better career than Barnes. Still sad we could have had Andre Drummond that year.
