At 47 I did not expect much. They addressed a need with a decent shooter. I assume because he was picked 47 that he has a few holes in his game.

If Almond would have learned to play defense he would probably be the Jazz's starting 2 right now
This guy is way more athletic than Morris Almond. Like 25 lbs lighter.
Watching some videos of him. Definitely has a chance to make it in the NBA. Will be rooting for him. Funny thing is that his voice sounds just like a skinny Al Jefferson.

He also scored 31 points against #9 Murray State last year. He is a scoring machine.

His freshman year he shot 40% from deep scoring 9 points a game. The next year was a focal point of the offense. I'm sure there was an adjustment he went through, and figured it out his senior year. Give him a chance Wes.

Just from that video he is not Almond. Almond had a super slow release and an inability to get himself open to take that slow *** release. Besides that a guy like Almond is a good gamble at 47. Just not where Almond was actually drafted.
