But how is it determined who will get the worst pick? This is what's driving me a little wild... there has to be clarifying language and I want to know what it is. If it creates the possibility of a blind/super-swap, then the Jazz should at some point find a way to get any junk 1st they can for that year.
That's one hell of a diminishing return.I don’t think we could just trade for a low-end first and swap it. It’s most likely this scenario for example:
We have pick 16
Minnesota has pick 14
Cleveland has pick 12
We would just swap our pick with Cleveland and Minnesota keeps their pick.
I can't remember a Shad post containing "excited" is this a good or bad omen?I'm the most excited about Agbaji. Dude looks like he's going to be legit. I'd love to see a starting lineup of Sexton - Beasley - Simone - Agbaji - Kessler
Rules vary from league to league, I believe. In Europe, at least some time back, you had to have two players on the court, or forfeit. In the NBA you never go below 5, but there's a technical for every foul that would've fouled out more players IIRC. Not sure about college rules.Good find. I never knew about that. DIdn't even think it was allowed tbh. I thought a team has to forfeit if they dont have enough players.
From our perspective I assume it is pretty straightforward: we have the right to swap with either Min or Cle. We can only swap our own pick (not another pick acquired at a later date). If we trade our pick the swap rights go to the team that acquires our pick. But how is it determined who will get the worst pick?
