Woj says the Jazz are listening to offers for Mitchell

I've fallen for the random dude on the internet with inside sources trick before. Hayward left and random dude disappeared.

Here are some of the things that this guy has been proven right about:
** That the Jazz were discussing trades for Mitchell as early as June 19th.
** That the Heat submitted a formal offer on Monday, June 20th. Verified by Eric Walden.
** That Mitchell's preferred teams are Miami and NYK (allegedly in that order) and these are the teams bidding for Mitchell.
** That Miami was pushed to increase its offer and submit it by Friday, June 24. Verified by a Miami Heat reporter.
** That Mitchell is being discussed in scenarios with BRK. Verified by multiple reporters.
** That Mitchell remains on the trade market, despite the Jazz saying he isn't. Later verified by Woj.

Half of this board was in denial that the Jazz have been trying to trade Mitchell until Woj's comments this week.

So they’d use the extra pick they would get from a Lowry deal for depth? That’s their preference?

Miami probably does not want to spend all of its conceivable assets on Mitchell if they can hold one of them back to bolster the team in other ways. They believe that the Heat are Mitchell's preferred destination.

Lmao… it is going to take all of their assets plus pulling a rabbit out of a hat to get Mitchell. You are living in la la land.

If competitive pressure from Miami has resulted in the Knicks upping their offer to include Barrett and 5 picks, then the Heat have already done their job for us. If that's really true, then the Jazz can just negotiate the protections on those picks and close the deal.

Half the board? It's like 5 posters at most

Why would Miami be doing us any favors? That offer isn’t competitive at all. It’s not even the max of 3 pick swaps they can do.

Just watched some highlights on Scoot Henderson... He would be a NICE consolation prize if we don't luck out and get Victor.

I will go out on a limb and say he may be THE PRIZE in a little less than a year.

Why don't you ask them? Maybe they think the Jazz will cater to Donovan's wish to play in Miami. Maybe Pat Riley is reluctant to get taken to the cleaners by Danny Ainge. Maybe Miami is still posturing. Maybe they don't think it's down to the last call on trade offers.
