Was it a Subway sandwich?
I had an Employee get sick from that place. Never been, never plan to after that. The word is it was Zupa's
I love all the people that fell for this thread. The churro should have been a dead giveaway and still people believed it LOLLLL
Wow, andy Larsen says the restaurant that made Gordon sick can be found on the internet. I bet he was referencing this thread.
Curious, there was no mention of a churo....

Let's just say it is easy enough to find out where the sickness inducing sandwich came from if you are an adept internet sleuther.

Gordon Hayward said it was a "sandwich from a place" that got him and wife Robyn sick on Sunday.

I have never been in the USA.
1. Is the Albertos better than Applebee?
2. If you have the similar salary like Hayward has - why bother with junkfood restaurants? Doesn't Salt Lake City have plenty of upscale Italian, French, Chinese, Japanese etc restaurants? For example, similar to https://www.noaresto.ee/en/noa-restaurant or https://www.fhoone.ee/en/main-menu/ or https://chedi.ee/en/ . I wonder why would anyone visit McDonalds, Subway etc if you have a seven digit salary.

If I had to guess I would say a good percentage of professional athletes probably don't have the best eating habits.Alberto's (Beto's) is way better than Applebee's.
Still, If I am an NBA player I never eat there. It is for drunk people who crave carbs, grease, and mystery bodily fluids. It isn't for professional athletes.
