Now I know that Inspectors are police officers and don't really solute. I also know that they investigate more than they do "protecting" but don't get caught up in all that, it still works.

I know. Even my wife thinks I'm unfunny. Most of the time she doesn't realize I'm joking. At least I'll have a few years when my son laughs at my jokes before he realizes they aren't funny. Kids are obligated to think their dad is funny before they become teenagers.
