You're such a bigot.

Damn it all to hell
lol thanks anyways. It's the effort that counts.

Sorry about your Hondureños contra los pinche malditos conquistadores europeos.

(I assume you're affiliated w/Honduras because of your screenname...)

What kind of a sport allows a tie? Is this the adult version of rec league sports for kids to help build confidence by making everyone a "winner"?

It's not whether you win or loose but rather how you play the game... good luck in life with this philosophy.

Okay Mark, I'll help you out a bit.

A tie is when two teams score the same amount of points. However, if a game is an elimination game, both teams continue into overtime periods. If no winner comes from that time, a shoot-out takes place, until one team scores more penalty kick goals than the other.

In the World Cup (and soccer in general), a tie is worth one point. A win is worth three points. A loss has no point value. Two ties are not worth as much as a win.

So you're sweet little Miley Ray Cyrus comment about "It's not whether you win or loose but rather how you play the game" clearly shows you don't understand this simple mathematical concept.

The funny thing about people like you, Jessica Rabbit, the people who doesn't like soccer or its popularity don't understand that soccer is the only sport that is widely popular on all six continents. No one gives a **** about NFL in Africa, or hockey in Asia, or baseball in Europe.

Let me know how I can help, bro. I got a sixer of Natty and my Xbox, you got the new Jack Johnson CD. We'll make a night of it.

Wow Marc, you just got owned in the bumhole.

Not really. I already knew everything UB posted. It still doesn't change how lame it is that a game can end in a tie. Rather than assigning points for a win, loss or tie why not just play until someone wins and let them move on?

Again, I do understand that soccer is the most popular sport everywhere but the U.S. Guess what? I don't give a rat's *** what the rest of the world thinks. It's still a boring *** game to watch that can end in a tie.

The best part of watching soccer is when the team "medic" runs out onto the field and will spritz some invisible magic pixie dust on someone's devastating knee "injury", which is so bad that they roll around on the ground in agony. Once he sees whether or not a foul was called he magically jumps right up runs around like crazy again for 30 minutes. That's some good **** right there.

It is only slightly less humorous listening to a soccer fan try and defend the sport. Now go blow it out your vuvuzuela, Nancy.
