Having only read page 8 of this thread, anyone heard about the copious amount of whining the French team is doing? Refusing to practice, refusing to train, losing to Mexico. Reading Sport Illustrated today it sounds like the English team is about to mutiny too. Hopefully the US use this opportunity to stick it to Algeria and move into the elimintation round.
 
Yeah, neither the Limeys nor the Frogs deserve to advance any further.

I'd hate to be the North Korean players or coaching staff. First ever game televised live in their country. Me thinks they'll also be part of a live televised execution when (IF) they return. How many do you think will seek asylum? Of course, seeking asylum in South Africa has to suck. Who wants to live in Africa?

What kind of a sport allows a tie? Is this the adult version of rec league sports for kids to help build confidence by making everyone a "winner"?
