Two thoughts on this game so far. First, the goalie for Ghana is freaking amazing. Second, I'm sick of people acting like they're hurt and falling down ever two seconds. Toughen up already.

Sounds like the US team just didn't have enough protection. Too many breakthroughs by the Africans.
You gotta be careful when you go to that continent: U.S. team just came down with a bad case of Ghana-rea.
Seriously, hats off to Ghana. One of the surprise teams of the WC. They've played well the whole tournament. I'm hoping for the Portuguese or Brazilians to win, but I'd like to see Ghana have a nice run, just like Cameroon did in 1990.

From watching the game, here are my two cents.
The US can't aim worth a lick. It seemed like they dominated the ball, but didn't know what to do with it when they got close other than fall on the ground and act like they got hurt.
Both goalies played well. Yeah, Ghana scored twice, but I blame it on the defenders more than the goalie. You can only expect some much from a keeper.
In reality, Ghana really won 2 to 0. Ok, they didn't, but the US got bailed out on a penalty kick, and that was there only score. In other words, they were shut out.
I tried to get into the game, but it was boring. I'm not kidding you when I say it seemed like there was an injury every 30 seconds or at least someone falling to the ground and making faces like they're about to die.
I wanted the US to win, but I don't really care. I know that sounds bad, I'm probably going to cheer more for Chile. I think the US will never be that great at soccer for the simple fact that our best athletes don't play it. Now if our best athletes played it, I think we would be pretty good.
