I get your point dude and agree on his lack of assertion but i think you're being a little hysterical about it all. I'd be disappointed in the coaching if the players aren't being instructed on specifics of what he wants them to be doing. It's one thing to hear Quin say he wants aggression but without knowing details of what he's asking him to do all the bitching is a little over the top. A year or two and i think he'll be quite different.
