What's new

Would you be disappointed if we don't make Playoff this season?

The teams average age is 24.6, it's unreasonable to expect them to make the playoffs..
It is not unreasonable. They will start bleeding talent if they don't become competitive soon. The Jazz have got to patch the necessary holes in order to get to the playoffs this season.

Not making the playoffs means either this team dramatically under performs or our best players are really not that good.

We all knew the playoffs hinged on injuries. Unfortunately we lost our defensive anchor for a bit.

It's a long season, all we need is good health when Rudy gets back and a solid run or two.

24.6 is basically prime age. It isn't like you get faster and stronger at 32 vs 25. Yes, the team is young. But 25 years old is full grown man. It is not a good excuse.

We need a superstar not useless playoff experience. Fans acting like this is DWill, Boozer, Memo team.

What is the best way to attract superstar? Same way Cleveland did for Lebron. There a lot of superstars available this summer plus the draft is deep and we are loaded with cap space. We need to win the lottory and show a KD we can win him a championship.

You apparently know almost nothing about the dynamics that brought LeBron back to Cleveland. If you did you would know that KD is definitely not coming to the Jazz for those reasons. As a matter of fact, he's not coming at all, no matter what the reasons.

You mean cause lebron was a hometown kid?

So just find a kid from slc who is going to be one of the best players of all time and go get him in via free agency. Should be easy enough since salt lake city is known for hall of fame basketball players

Oh come off. Everybody knows Lebron goes to Cleveland after they get two top draft picks. You think Lebron is going somewhere he cannot win?

KD can win here the whole league knows this. I read that article saying Jazz are number 1 with Curry. He will come. We need to incentive.

The Jazz aren't even remotely close to being prepared to deal with this in a playoff series.. I'd say with this current personnel/rotation it'd be damn near impossible

Looks like I didn't respond previously, but my answer is "definitely yes, I'd be disappointed". And what may be more important than having the young players get 4 games of playoff experience, I think missing the playoffs altogether seriously damages our chances of re-signing Hayward.
