Would you be upset if the Jazz fired Ty Corbin?

Let's be honest, though. Neither scenario has a chance in hell of happening.
What, in your opinion, were some of the coaching moves Ty made to make this happen? Do you believe he made more good moves or head scratchers? Where would you rank (roughly, of course) Ty against the rest of the NBA's coaches?
Interested in everyone's opinions on this, btw.
I thought he got the team to play hard for the most part and just had them playing good basketball. He focused on our strength which was pounding it down low. I like the way he brought Favors, Hayward, Burks, and Kanter along. Not everything a coach does can be seen by fans, a lot of it is behind the scenes but the only thing I can really judge is the final product. We ended the season 36-31 in his first season with at team that many expected to be near the bottom of the Western Conference. That is a great sign for a rookie coach in my opinion. I just don't want to be one of those teams who fires their coach prematurely. Let's see what we have with Corbin.
Also, he is not getting fired Jazzfanz. So it looks like I'm the only who is going to be happy.

I would be upset to the point of possibly not watching the Jazz for a while. As has been stated already, he took a team of youth and washed up talent to the playoffs that was supposedly going to be one of the worst teams in the league to the playoffs, while at the same time consistently developing the young players without turning the team over to them. Oddly enough the thing I like the most about him is that he isn't reactionary, he doesn't do rash things to try and make short term gains. He takes players as they are RIGHT NOW and he doesn't think about potential at all. That forces the young players to improve to the point where they are better than the Vets are right now which instills upon them work ethic and an understanding of fairness.

The stuff about how Corbin miraculously took a ragtag team of outcasts and made them a fearsome force is ridiculous fiction. The experts underestimated a team with considerable talent and depth based on a small sample size following a once-in-a-life time crisis. I think Corbin was actually quite terrible for the first half of the season. His line ups were a disaster, and his sucking up to the vets did nothing but feed their egos until they trashed him to the media. His substitutions were scripted and directly cost the Jazz several games. His offensive schemes were barely high school worthy.
That being said, Corbin showed real and noticeable improvement as the season progressed. I don't know if he will continue to improve, but if he does, then we have a good situation on our hand. I am not so sure, however. I think in the end, we'd be better served by a more proven coach.

I would like to revisit this topic in a year. Right now, I wouldn't be opposed to bringing another coach in, but I really would like to see what Ty can do with another season, as well as a few different players on the Jazz before I can really say one way or the other right now.
I do feel that Ty did a pretty good job this season for the most part, but would have liked to have seen a little different strategy at times.

I don't agree with this cliche. I personally say "I couldn't care less". But I don't see why the other is wrong. One is literal and the other sarcastic. "I could care less about Corbin" means that as little as you care, it is conceivable that you can care even less.
