would you do this trade in the offseason
suppose jazz miss the playoffs
would you trade Jefferson and our first 2 round picks(assuming we get both), maybe a future first second rounder for dwight howard as a full 1 year rental

jazz will look like this for 1 year

burks-cj
hayward- Jhoward
millsap favors kanter
Dhoward favors kanter

or would you rather keep on the picks assuming they are 8-9 and a 13th 14th pick.

i was a fan of Howard but his constant bickering and bitching instead of just playing basketball made mecautious of him.
but who knows if we do this trade and jazz win some games and have a good offseason we might attract 1 or 2 more great role players :D.
 
...I'm beginning to sour on Howard. I know he doesn't have any jailhouse tats....but his game does have weaknesses and now he seems to be dictating terms to a real nice coach Stan Van Gundy! He can't hit a free throw to save his neck, and unless he's dunking, he ain't scoring.
 
No. No point in getting Howard right now. The people that would be around him wouldn't be ready enough. Making moves should be about timing too.
 
Howard's been a bigger drama princess than Carmello, but for some reason he gets more slack.

So we traded DW in order to miss the drama of "will he stay or will he go" along with the fact that we would not get anything if he left in FA. Now you want to trade 3 first round picks and AJ for a one year rental? ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!!! Dwight Howard is a coach-killer and there is no way he will stay in Utah after his one year deal is done. Besides the fact he will pout and not play hard if things go his way. I would rather have the production of our three first round picks and AJ instead of renting a drama queen for a year.

Thank god this is just a fan board. Great idea trade a good trade asset for a one year rental. (sarcasm)
