I think it’s entirely possible if not more than plausible he takes the QO.

And remember how good he looked until bad coaching got to him. He needs a good fit.

He's a 42% 3 pt shooter when 6+ feet open. He would make the offense sizzle and space the floor. He could play 3, 4, 5 on offense.

I would trade all our scrubs, Dok and SnT Ersan to pull it off. But, we would have to resign more scrubs and the tax bill would be large but I think the offense would be slightly more potent with another option to play 5 out

When Ingles retire, I think he can take his spot. His dribble drive game is better than Bogies - he has less turnovers. Better athlete too. I think 3/4 is what he can play actually.



Markannen taking the Niang, Ersan, Juwan, Oni, Brantley minutes and releaving some minutes from Ingles, Bogey and Gobert (pretty dang versatile - just misused in Chicago) seems like an upgrade to me.

Yeah, a couple problems with this. For one, a minimum contracts don't count towards salary matching for hte purpose of trades, so the idea of packaging a bunch of minimum guys won't actually work. Additionally, a sign-and-trade player needs a contract of at least 3 years.

If he did accept the qualifying offer we could then trade him for the trade exception. I'm assuming him accepting the QO does put a moratorium on when he can be traded, but am not 100% sure on that. Even so, if he were to start the season on the Bulls roster and then get traded as soon as he was eligible that would certainly be an interesting option. At this point I'm not sure if he is going to get any more than the QO from any other team.
