Would You Trade Favors for Cousins?

Would You Trade Favors for Cousins?

Just tell me the better potential roster:

PG: The Wind
SG: Burks
SF: Hayward
PF: Favors
C: Gobert
or
PG: The Wind
SG: Burks
SF: Hayward
PF: Cousins
C: Gobert

Seems obvious to me.

So is it because Cousins that Kings have no identity or is it because Kings that Cousins is so unpredictable? Or is it a loop?

I don't really want a player that could mess up any kind of chemistry we have and stagnates the development of our players. That is not to say Cousins sucks, I think he is a really good player but he needs to be on a winning team. I would be much more okay with the trade if it was 2 years later.

#1: Talking about TS% w/o mentioning minutes per game and USG% is terrible.

#2: There are exactly 22 season were a F-C or C or C-F had played >30 min/g, >30 USG% and >55 TS%

Shaq: 11 x
Olajuwan: 3x
Ewing: 3x
DMC: 2x(this season still in progress)
Ming: 1x
Stoudemire: 1x
Robinson: 1x

Yeah not first option worthy. Dude ist doing stuff Shaq, Hakeem and The Admiral did...

Yet those players had those usage rates on playoff teams. Cousins is nothing unless he can pull that team to the playoffs.

It's a really impressive stat, none the less.

To me usage rates are impressive if a team is relying on you that much, and it's resulting in your team being in playoff contention.

I get that, but any time you're on a list exclusive to Shaq, Hakeem, and Robinson, it's impressive.

And that is somehow Cousins fault? I posted his on court off court splits a little earlier in this thread. They outscore their opponents when he is on the court by 3.8 per 100[better then the Suns almost as good as the Rockets] when he is off the court they get outscored by 12.7 per 100[worse than the Sixers!!!].
You're watching some Jazz games. And you know how important Gordon is and how we look like **** when Gordon isn't playing. That is how it is w/ DMC and the Kings and then some.

Easily YES...The upside is soooo far passed what we w ill get as of now..The chance for an elite player over a good player is worth the risk. I say at this point, as good as Favors is, and I like him, he is our 4th most important piece going forward. Exum, Hayward, Gobbert...then Favors...Cousins would immediately become our best (talentwise) player along with Exum. If we could hit on both of them, we would be set for a while. Obviously the chances are we wouldnt and one or both fail to realize what they could be. BUT, in my opinion, SWING for the fences when you can trade your 4th piece for a possible #1 piece. No risk, no reward.

No one is denying that he is a star level talent, who has amazing physical attributes with great skills. A great player elevates his teammates as well. If his teammates hate him or there's constant bull **** going on between him and the coach or another "lesser" teammate, then any amount of skill he might possess is neutralized by his negativity in every other aspect of the game and team. I don't predict stuff since it's usually useless, but I would be shocked to see Cousins on a Playoff bound NBA team any time soon. He's had **** dragging along with him before he even entered the league, and yes, he hasn't gone to prison as predicted, but he sure as hell hasn't done much for his reputation. It's always an excuse with Cousins. Take a look at Wall in comparison. He is a true All Star.
