Would you trade Gobert for #1 Draft Pick?

If Lakers or 76ers offer #1 overall pick (likely Ben Simmons)for Rudy Gobert, would you take it?

The question is stupid... there are only 12ish players at best in the whole league that gms wouldn't trade for the 1st pick and gobert is not one of them. Doesn't mean he isn't a fantastic player to have...black or white just leaves no room for analysis.

Heck, no. Gobert is 23-years-old and he's an elite defender at the center position. Once the Jazz start making the playoffs y'all will see how valuable Rudy truly is. He's a game-changer.

Where's the loyalty? Trade Gobert -- that is ridiculous. Yes, Rudy is having problems this year but it's way too early to give up on him. Plus Rudy provides great leadership and chemistry to the team. Players like that, like Ingles and Booker, two other examples, have a value that outweighs their contributions on the court.

Also, these are guys the fans like and are easy to root for. Would you like to trade Rudy for Carmelo, for instance, or even Kobe before he was injured. Hell no -- no one wants to root for a ********.

Ben Simmon's ceiling is Kevin Durant, and the league going toward versatile big who can switch, pass and guard on the perimeter. One dimensional bigs like Gobert who has virtually NO offensive game has rapidly depreciating value in the changing league

Mellow wants to trade him for poeltl. That's what I was responding to. I would trade him for Simmons. Most likely.

I don't think people are down on Rudy. Most fans with a brain still recognize his incredible long-term value and upside. This is just a hypothetical. And a #1 pick in a draft with a franchise-changing talent is nothing to scoff at.

Rudy isn't the problem.

That PG situation is.

Trade Burke. Why is still on this roster? Should've been traded last year
