Would you want the #20 pick?

Say Jimmer falls all the way to #20, and the Jazz haven't drafted a point guard. What would you be willing to trade to get #20 to draft Fredette (or someone else that you like that may fall to that pick)?

Easy yes for any Jazz fan would be Raja Bell for the #20. Not sure if Minny goes for that even with them liking Bell. 3M in cash is another yes from Jazz fans. Not sure if the front office would do that.

Okur for #20 and filler? Some Jazz fans say yes. Some say no.

Don't know if there are any other deals that would be good for Jazz fans.

there has been some consensus on this board (in fleeting moments) that CJ is worth a late-first round pick. Well, in this draft, I think #20 isn't too high. AND, I actually think he could help the Wolves.

However, I wouldn't be sitting on that #20 for long if I was the FO. I'd be using that pick + #12 in order to move up.

#12 + #20 + future 2nd round pick(s) would probably be enough to jump up to #7 or #8, which, despite the many comments to the contrary, I still believe will net us a better player than if we stand pat.

The Jazz are really in a classic draft situation this year: our picks are just on the cusps of talent drop-offs. Good players will fall to us, but are they content with that?

I'd rather stick with pick 12. In my opinion talent level is not much different, there are prospects I like at 12 then 7 or 8.

I wouldn't do it to get Fredette, but yes. If you can trade Miles for #20 and/or Anthony Tolliver, do that 8 times a week.

And as far as Bell goes, if he can accept that his role is mentor and bench player not playing a lot of minutes (as well as a stop-gap for injury, foul trouble, or if a player simply isn't doing what they should ahead of him), then I'd love to keep him. Right now, the team needs to be stock-piling players whose ceiling hasn't been reached and veterans on their way out.

I'd love Freddete at 20. I doubt he drops that far though. I don't seem falling past the Knicks, who I think pick at 18.

I just did a mock Mock Draft, and Jimmer went #1, which tends to make me think Jimmer won't be around for the #20 pick.

I'd offer cash...$3M is what draft picks have sold for in the past.
