Cho just managed to turn the loss of Josh McRoberts into a better player.

Hes got Vonleh, Zeller and Biyombo, all of whom could play next to Al.

Kidd-Gilchrist broke his hand last year, he should be better. Jeffrey Taylor was injured too.
Lance and Gerald Henderson at SG is solid.

Kemba is going into a contract year. So is Gary Neal.

They should safely be in the playoffs next year.

Yea, Cho was a jerk for doing so but that is what you get when you announce to the world that you are willing to match a max deal. It was stupid for the Jazz to do so and they only have themselves to blame. This is DLs first major screw up.

I think this deal is what Indy offered him so there must have been something else going on. As long as Charlotte can manage his personality they got a talented player.

Pretty sure Cho just wanted Hayward... Don't think he had a master plan to just drove up his price. He ended up settling for Lance.

Actually they offered him an even better contract

Initially, but then didn't they come down. This whole thing seems a little screwy... if I'm lance's agent I get the most years I can. He could be JR Smith by the all star break.

Hornets would rather have had Hayward at 16 million for 4 than Stephenson at 9 million for 3. No two ways about it. It amuses me that many are pissed about that. And, of course, Charlotte will compete in the East. My ward basketball team would be competing for home court in the first round in the East.

The key is not to have a whole team of knuckleheads. Good orgs can usually absorb a couple. We've had Kirk Snyder, Robert Whaley, and others that were worse people with far less upside. You could get rid of Lance in a New York minute at 27 mill over 3.

Bobby Williams and Torry Ellis say hi

What is wrong with GM Dennis? Why he takes scared little boy blue over real man that is strong to guard Boss Lebron? Hayward cannot guard box of bunny rabbits why does Dennis like to pay twice as much to players that have no muscles?

The Jazz organization has always held players to a higher standard than many other NBA teams. Players like Stephenson who have had issues off the court as well as on the court are a huge red flag to owners like the Miller's. Even if Lance would have been willing to sign with the Jazz (He wouldn't), there is no way the Jazz would want to take that risk. I know it is frustrating for some of you, but that is the way it will always be. Maybe you'd be better suited rooting for an organization that isn't so risk adverse.
