Just out of curiousity, is this deliberate ignorance? I mean, I know your opinion won't change, but do you really care nothing for facts?
Moths have been glued to trees for gtextbooks pictures, not in the course of science. Climate scientists have not produced fraudulant numbers, and in fact numerous governmental investigations have cleared some accused scientists.
I wish I was as level headed as you are. Nothing angers me as much as people like PearlWatson and TheSilencer whose entire thought process seems to be based on memorizing enough soundbites to justify what they want to be true. You just casually refute their nonsense with logic and evidence, although you know that it will make no difference.

I'm sure some people will be glad to confirm I'm less level-headed on issues of racism, homophobia, vaccine safety, etc. (at least one person has me on their ignore list because of this).
That's probably because they disagree with you. I've always found your arguments to be fairly objective and backed by the best available evidence.
I have no problem with disagreements. I don't think I've ever agreed with anything Scat said. But I never had a problem with him. However, some people think ignorance is a perfectly acceptable substitute for evidence. They even seem to pride themselves in not providing any objectivity. It is as if they think the farther you are from accepted methods of acquiring knowledge and evaluating evidence the better.
And you engage with them so calmly! I, on the other hand, get more and more heated. I can't help it. It's quite sad.
Thank goodness we have the Slopper's and Thriller's of the world. Without them, politics would be so blah. Also, please stop giving credence to anything The Silencer says -- he's a very elaborate troll, is likely out of work, and has nothing but time on his hands to stir the pot. There is no possible way that anyone is that dumb. (except craig1221, but he was 1 in a million)

Just for the record..... you're the one that always starts fights with everyone, and gets mad at anyone that might have a different outlook other than your casual mainstream attitude.
You do notice that PearlWatson and myself don't really care much about you getting mad or not.

I'm fine with disagreements. I liek hearing opposing views if given with respect.
If I feel you just try to grand stand and throw out stupd, baseless accusations at peopel then I no longer feel your are no longer worth my full time.
First, I never said I wanted you to care if I got mad. I am just annoyed that I can't help getting heated when I'm debating someone who is so obviously beneath me. And you are beneath me. In almost any criteria you choose. Second, you don't have an outlook. You're just a know-nothing ignoramus whose confidence stems directly from lack of knowledge. I'm just saddened that some uncontrollable impulse prevents me from simply ignoring you.
