I referenced in a thread earlier this week that Rich Sheubrooks of the Jazz mentioned that there was an international player in this draft that they were in love with that everyone is sleeping on.

I guess Gobert was that guy.

Yes you did. I had a feeling it WASN'T Nogueira. Thought perhaps it was Giannis, although so many were talking about him, how could he possibly fit that category? Only time will tell with Gobert, but he sure is TALL. Combine record for span and standing reach. He can nearly dunk with both feet on the ground!
 
I like the Gobert pick. Cash means nothing to us. It's basically like we drafted a second round prospect at #46.

He'll make the roster. My only question is if he comes over this year or waits. With our roster situation, I see no reason not to bring him over immediately.

He's one of the longest individuals I've ever seen.
